Tucked into a quiet corner of Christie Park in Southwest Calgary, Wentworth Manor sits on a lush, green property with parks, shops, and transit close by, striking a calm, convenient balance. Following recent renovations, the community offers private, senior-friendly suites, comfortable lounges, and a bright central hub, giving residents room to settle in and plenty of places to gather and socialize.
Group activities and monthly events
There is always something happening at Wentworth Manor. Our residents enjoy happy hour every Wednesday with live entertainment, tastings in The Court every other Tuesday, and a monthly meal brought in from a restaurant the residents pick themselves. The bus runs out to Glenmore Park, Devonian Gardens, and Market Mall, with longer drives toward Bragg Creek and Banff when the weather is good. Music runs through all of it, from visits by our music therapist to a music room where anyone can try a ukulele or a keyboard.
Good company, close by
Walk in past the fountain and the community opens up around you. The bright central hub and stage is where we gather for events, happy hour and holiday parties, with hallways leading off the central hub, each with a lounge of their own. Upstairs there is shuffleboard, a foosball table, and a Rummikub game that runs most afternoons. Wherever the day starts, people tend to end up back at the hub.
